Quick guide to reporting civic and traffic issues
🏛️ Reporting a Civic Issue
- Navigate to Civic Issues from the home page
- Click "📸 Mobile Camera" (on mobile) or "⬆️ Upload Photo"
- Allow GPS detection or manually set location on map
- Confirm that issue is seen on the photo
- Select issue category (pothole, drainage, etc.)
- Add optional details
- Review and click "🚨 Post Issue via @zenc_civic"
✅ Tips for Civic Reporting:
- Take clear photos showing the issue
- Ensure your GPS is enabled for accurate location
- Select the most relevant issue category
- Reports must be within Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) limits
🚦 Reporting a Traffic Issue
- Navigate to Traffic Issues from the home page
- Click "📸 Mobile Camera" (on mobile) or "⬆️ Upload Photo"
- Allow GPS detection or manually set location on map
- Confirm that issue is seen on the photo
- Select traffic violation type
- Add location details (optional)
- Confirm and click "🚦 Report" to post to Bengaluru Traffic Police
⚠️ Important Notes for Traffic Reporting:
- Faces are automatically blurred for privacy protection
- Only report genuine traffic violations
- Photos must clearly show the violation
- Reports must be within Bengaluru city limits
🗺️ Using the Map
If your photo doesn't have GPS data or you need to adjust the location:
- Look for the map that appears after uploading your photo
- Click on the map to place a marker at the exact location
- Or use the search bar to find a location by address
- Drag the marker to fine-tune the position
- The location must be within GBA/Bengaluru boundaries
